Annabelle's kittens have arrived - 19 July 2008

Happiness Chiquita (Annabelle) gave birth to 4 beautiful kittens on 19th July. We will keep you updated with weekly progress. She has taken to motherhood extremely well and we are very proud of her.

As members of the British Ragdoll Cat Club, all our kittens are registered with the Governing Council of Cat Fancy, (GCCF). All our kittens will leave us with a comprehensive kitten pack, fully vaccinated, vet checked, pedigree certificate and with six weeks pet plan insurance.

If you are interested in buying one of our kittens they start at £375 - £ 400 each. Our kittens will be able to leave their mother at 12 weeks old, with a deposit of £50 payable at 8 weeks old.

The Ragdoll is so called because of its ability to relax - just like a ragdoll, when handled. The Ragdoll is very intelligent and has a very even temperament. It is extremely devoted to its owners. This makes the Ragdoll cat a superb pet for families with children.

The Ragdoll was developed in California during the 1960s from a white longhair and a seal point Birman.
The ideal Ragdoll has a large, well-boned, muscular and substantial body, somewhat elongated. It is massive across the shoulders and chest and heavy in the hindquarters with a tendency to develop a "fatty pad"on the lower abdomen. The head is a broad modified wedge with the appearance of a flat plane between the ears. The medium-length muzzle is round, with a well-developed chin. The medium-length nose has a break between the eyes and the leather harmonizes with the coat.
A ragdoll has large, oval, sapphire blue eyes. They are wide set and in line with the base of the ear. The ears themselves are wide at the base with rounded tips.
